"I got the 1001-RB yesterday! Thank you so much! It sounds Awesome! I must say I was really surprised with the amp. The differences I notice right away are the GK being Solid State it has a super punchy cutting tone to it that is just awesome. To me the single notes are very pure, well defined and piano like. I love Articulation in my tone. I would never consider a Solid State amp for my guitar rig, but after playing through the 1001-RB for a couple of hours I felt myself craving that tone. I really like the contour control and the EQ is very responsive and feels very active to touch. Another option I did not realize is that because the GK is Solid State I can basically set it on my console in my studio and direct out into my Pro Tools HD rig with no speaker loads. This will be a great tool for me. I can't wait to record some killer bass tracks with it! I plan to this weekend."
